Before work begins
Document existing cracks and finishes, remove fragile items from affected walls, confirm access areas, discuss landscaping and concrete impacts, and clarify whether plumbing or engineering checks are recommended.
During repair
Some movement may occur as support is installed or elevations are adjusted. The contractor should communicate the planned sequence, access points, and any unexpected conditions.
After repair
Some doors and finishes may need adjustment. Cosmetic repairs are often best delayed until the structure has settled into its post-repair condition and any recommended follow-up checks are complete.
